About us
The global community of people with African and Afro-diasporic heritage is incredibly diverse, with a wealth of cultural traditions, languages, and histories to draw upon. Our goal as an association is to celebrate and preserve these cultural riches, while also acknowledging that cultures are always evolving and changing.
To achieve this goal, we offer a variety of resources and services that can help people of all ages and backgrounds connect with their cultural heritage. These might include language courses, intercultural mediation services, community events, and more. We are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive space where everyone can feel valued and supported.
At the same time, we recognize that African and Afro-diasporic cultures have faced many challenges and injustices over the years. Our mission is to raise awareness of these issues and work towards a more equitable and just world for all people. We believe that cultural diversity is a strength that should be celebrated and nurtured, and we strive to create opportunities for people to share their unique perspectives and experiences.
Our association has a particular focus on supporting young people and bicultural children of all backgrounds. We believe that these individuals have unique needs and experiences, and we work to provide resources and services that can help them navigate their multicultural reality.
Overall, our vision is one of a world that celebrates and values cultural diversity, and that recognizes the unique contributions of people from all walks of life.
Pan-Africanism
After a long period in which life on the African continent was marked by "being divided and dominated", Pan-Africanism advocates that the peoples of Africa can build strength and free themselves from dependence through fraternal union. Every people, ethnicity and culture is allowed to flourish, which makes the rich diversity so breathtaking. At the same time, a certain unity and connectedness must be strived for in this diversity. This can contribute to the mental and economic liberation of the continent and its descendants from post- and neo-colonial structures.
The association wants to speak out actively against forms of division such as tribalism and separatism and promote love, harmony, and solidarity among all people, especially among people of African background, whose fate has long been marked by systematic weakening of this solidarity.

The Ruhi Institute
The Ruhi Institute provides educational materials, the content of which is used at PACE. For example, the topic of the positive image of man is dealt with in the Ruhi materials. Materials are currently available in the following languages. If possible, we would like to include the mother tongues or heritages languages in the training and further education of volunteers. Even in cooperation with families, e.g. during visits to the parents of the children, excerpts can be shared in the appropriate language.
